His latest feature film, The Unseen, starring RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), had a successful theatrical run and is now streaming on all major platforms. His latest TV project, #FML, will star Rumer Willis (Empire), and he serves as a development executive and script doctor.

Shanley is an American playwright, screenwriter, and director. He won the 1988 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film Moonstruck. His play, Doubt: A Parable, won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play; he wrote and directed the film adaptation and earned a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

She’s been part of some incredible productions, from Ocean in a Teacup at Theater Row to Co-Founders at Joe’s Pub and Odd Man Out, a New York Times pick. Her work spans everything from Rehab and Candy Girls to Next Thing You Know and Silent Movie Dreams. She even took home Best Director at Winterfest 2017 for These Little Ones Perish.
