    Shaleen Reid-Holbrook

    Director

    Making her directorial debut, Shaleen Reid-Holbrook (she/her) moved with her family to the Salem area in August 2022. She has been highly involved with local theaters including running music, mics and sound for shows like The Prom and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, both with Pentacle Theatre and James and the Giant Peach with Enlightened Theatrics. She has also helped with lighting design for several productions with Bridgetown Conservatory, including Dogfight and the Sondheim Tribute. Along with lighting and costuming for Dogfight, she also costumed for Pentacle’s recent production of Clue. When she is not involved in theater pursuits, she works as a home health nurse and as coach & co-owner of eMBody Inclusive Wellness along with her wife, Nathalie. Shaleen is incredibly grateful for the love and support of her family!

    Assistant & Technical Director

    Nathaniel is an Oregon and New York based choreographer, director, actor, dancer, and designer, who is ecstatic to be working on Songs for a New World. Proceeding his graduation from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), he is most known for his work in New York with Second Stage Theater, MCC Theater, Evan Bernardin Productions, New World Stages, and The Schubert Foundation. Nathaniel has worked on various shows in New York, such as the original production of Dear Evan Hansen, The Wrong Man, Cabaret, The Play that Goes Wrong, and many others. His most recent shows in Oregon include Evil Dead: The Musical, Lifespan of a Fact, James and the Giant Peach, Legally Blonde, Kinky Boots, and many more. He thanks all of those that have supported him along the way, and hopes to provide the same support back to the local theater community.
