Randy Leslie
as Jean Valjean
Randy has come full circle since making it to the final 5 to play Marius in the original Toronto Company. A little older and wiser he now gets to play his dream role of Jean Valjean. His next project as Artistic Director of KAS is directing Shrek-The Musical. Randy is the recipient of the best Teacher/Professor in Kelowna as well as other awards including City of Kelowna Honour in the Arts and the first ever Okanagan Angel Award. He would like to dedicate his performance to his 'dad' Vern Suel, who was his own personal Jean Valjean and stood for so much bravery and good. He hopes you leave the performance learning something about yourself and your fellowman.

Karlisa Lindberg Hiebert *
as Fantine
Karlisa appeared in the professional Toronto Company of Les Miserables where she had the great privilege of performing for “Lady Diana”. After 1 year and approximately 500 performances in the Ensemble and as an understudy, she was selected by Claude-Michel Schönberg (author of Les Miserables) to play the lead role of Eponine for the Canadian National Touring Company, which toured for over 1 1/2 years. Her career in musical theatre began at a very young age and she has received much recognition for her accomplishments in performances in the Vancouver Performing Arts community. Other favourite roles include Tzeitel in Huron Country Playhouse’s “Fiddler on the Roof”, Rizzo in Grease, Gertie Cummins in Oklahoma for Theatre Under the Stars and Diana in “Anne of Green Gables” for Gateway Theatre.

Rick Worrall
as Javert
Rick is excited to be back on stage again in his first full production in almost 2 years. He is excited to be the bad guy this time! Rick is also excited to be working again with Randy Leslie, having not being in a full production together since "Kiss of the Spider Woman". Thank's to Nate and Randy for this great opportunity and as always a special thank you to Ros for her vocal guidance.
