Ahmad Kanan
as Orpheus
Ahmad is a junior at KHS, has been involved in theatre for seven years, and is performing in his twelfth production. His past roles include Hans in Frozen, Simba in The Lion King, Gomez in The Addams Family, Sky in Mamma Mia!, Beetlejuice in Beetlejuice Jr., and ensemble roles in The Little Mermaid and Shrek. He has also participated in multiple advancing one-act plays: Check Please, Frankenstein, and Lost Girl. After high school, Ahmad plans to go to college in Texas. His favorite musical is Hadestown for its intricate storytelling, deep meaning, and intense vocals.

Taryn Harbster
as Eurydice
Taryn is a senior at KHS and is participating in her eighth production with Kennedale Wildcat Theatre. Last year, she played Sophie in Mamma Mia! and Nina in Lost Girl. This year she played Barbara in Beetlejuice Jr. After high school, Taryn plans to pursue a career in criminology, though she is still deciding on a college in Texas. Her favorite Broadway play is Next To Normal for its touching story and heart-warming songs.

Jacob Golden
as Hades
Jacob is a senior who has been involved in theatre since second grade. His past roles include Lord Farquaad in Shrek, the Genie in Aladdin, Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, and Mufasa in The Lion King, dance captain/ensemble in Hadestown at Grand Prairie Arts Council, and Sam in Mamma Mia, and Charles Deetz in Beetlejuice Jr. Jacob is an honor student, UIL poetry and prose competitor, and President of KHS varsity theatre. He studies voice with Christopher Curcuruto at UTA and hopes to pursue both medicine and theatre in college. His favorite musical is Jekyll and Hyde because of its powerful music, dark storytelling, and incredible acting.
