 CAST

  • Jennifer Ruth (Jean)

Jennifer began acting in NYC and regional theatre, where favorite roles include Tess in "The Sisters Rosensweig", Simone in "Probably Nothing," Rose in "Our Intoxication", and Cecily in "The Odd Couple." Jennifer's short film, "Lydia Rising," which she wrote, directed, and co-starred in, recently screened at the Oregon Cinema Arts Film Festival and the St. Louis Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival, and she has several screenplays in the works. When not acting or writing, Jennifer can be found wandering in Mill Creek Park or Central Park, while planning adventures with her husband and 3 cats. Jennifer dedicates her performance to the memory of William Esper.

  • Peter Byrne (Gordon)

Peter Byrne is Associate Professor of English at Kent State Trumbull. He has appeared in several productions at KSU Trumbull Theatre, including "Gaslight" (Inspector Rough), "Much Ado About Nothing" (Benedick), "The Increased Difficulty of Concentration" (Hummel), "Macbeth" (Macbeth), "The Tempest" (Prospero), and "Tartuffe" (Orgon). As always, he is grateful to cast mates and the director, and especially to the managers, designers and techies for doing all the hard work so he can have all the fun.

  • Jenna Cintavey (Mrs. Gottlieb)

This recent Kent State University Theatre Program graduate is excited to be back performing at her old stomping grounds.  Jenna was last seen on the Kent Trumbull stage as the bumbling police sidekick, Verges, in "Much Ado About Nothing" and most recently as Marion (traditionally Marc) in the Youngstown Playhouse's production of "Art".  Jenna is a Marquee Award winner and has performed on various stages throughout Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana counties in plays, musicals, murder mysteries, cabarets, and as a stand-up comedian.  Some of Jenna's other memorable roles include Marc Antony in Mahoning Valley Player's all female version of "Julius Caesar", Aslan the lion in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", and Helen in "Fat Pig".  When not performing, Jenna works at 717 Credit Union and enjoys spending time with her parents and pets and making crafts.  To Peter; Remember, Mother ALWAYS knows best.
