TIMELINE OF US
October 2019 - First Online Contact ...of sorts!
We were friends on Facebook, like many in our community are (one of us saw that we had 20+ mutual friends in common and thought the other was cute, so one of us friend requested the other without actually meeting. LOL!)
November - December 2019 - First In Person Brief Meeting
At some point between then and January 2020, we were both at Tavern on Camac in Philly. Kevin was heading home for the night and remembers seeing Rob as he walked down the steps and decided to say a quick hello.
March 12, 2020 - Happy Birthday to Kevin!
Rob wished Kevin a happy birthday on Facebook.
March 13, 2020 - The World Shut Down...Let the Flirting Begin!
While Kevin was scrolling through his feed on Facebook, he saw a picture of Rob and decided he should flirt a bit and send him a compliment on Messenger. He just said, "Great pic handsome." LOL.
After this text, we started texting pretty regularly and eventually exchanged numbers and started talking on the phone, which quickly turned to talking over FaceTime.
April 4, 2020 - Our First Date
After a few weeks of texting and talking, we both decided to meet for a date, which during Covid proved to be difficult. Lockdowns had begun and pretty much nothing was open. With Rob being in PA and Kevin being in DE, we weren't even sure if we were allowed to cross state lines! We decided to meet up in New Hope, PA and go on an outdoor 4.5 mile hike. After the date, we headed back to the car and got something to eat at Dunkin' (the only place open!). We sat in the back of the CRV with the trunk door open and talked more.
July 10, 2021 - Our Engagement
We got engaged on July 10, 2021. It feels like a lifetime ago, but there's a lifetime to go. More twists, more turns, and more memories.
May 20, 2023 - The Wedding!
Today it's about all of us. It's about the little moments we've all lived together that are part of our story. It's about the laughs and meals we shared with you. It's about friends meeting friends and family meeting family. It's about love in its entirety and its individuality.
