DIRECTOR'S NOTES
This show has been one, in which, I have wanted to be a part of, since first hearing the opening song. I have always found 'Louie's journey" to be truly universal and deeply moving. It is thrilling to finally see it come to life with such an amazing group of kids. I sincerely hope you enjoy our "Flight" with Louie and his friends tonight.
First, I would like to thank this amazing cast for their unbelievable talent and work effort. I am beyond proud to be the "Captain" of this remarkable production. I, also, must thank all of the incredible parents who helped in so very many ways throughout this process.This would not have been possible without you all of your effort and support. In particular, I would like to thank Jill Fletcher, Michelle Harthill, Jay Martin, and Kathy Yen for truly reaching above and beyond all throughout this production..
I would like to thank Helen Nadel and ICT/ KAS for allowing me the opportunity to spearhead their first full scale musical production. Special Thanks to the entire KAS/ ICT staff, in particular, Debbie Lyn and Sally Wolf. You ladies were wonderful! Thank you to my fabulous stage Manager Chelsea Mundy for filling in last minute and keeping me sane. Special Thanks to Steve Caputo and his amazing talent for saving the day and making our set beautiful Special Thanks to Eugene Koh and Susan Chau for flying out and filming our production tonight. Thanks to Kathy Yen and the OC Church of Christ for providing us with such a wonderful space and such a spirit of hospitality. Thanks to Ana Selvaggi for all your last min (timesaving) help.
Finally, a very special thanks to Ryan Snow. This production would certainly not be occurring without all of your help behind the scenes. Your support during this process means more to me than you can ever realize.
