A note from Matt & Michelle Belliston:
We wish to share thanks to the parents who contributed for cast and crew snacks, meals, and who helped with rehearsals, sets, props, and costumes. A special thanks to Mandy Mills, who has been at nearly every rehearsal in and out of school, and who has made so much of the crafting of this show come to fruition. What a gift she has been to this cast for this production.
This show may be the most refined of the shows since we've been in Kimberly. The mics are brand new and the lights are going to show you some fancy tricks. The kids are well-prepared, and there is an energy that comes from a cast of students who enjoy being together. These are some of the best students that Kimberly has to offer.
While it's easy to notice those in the limelight, take notice at how quickly the sets move on and off. Look at how seamlessly the scenes change. That is not an accident, nor is it easy, and requires many people backstage, focused and ready, to make it happen, as well as incredible teamwork and organization in coordinating where each piece can sit.
Theodore Roosevelt said, "Far and away, the best prize life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." It has been a privilege to work with this cast and crew. We hope these kids remember the journey and the production of this show for decades. We know we will.
