Playwright & Director's Note:
This play honors the memory of my Swiss-born mother, Brigitte Stocker Rose, who didn't teach me how to cook, but taught me how to eat. I was and continue to be inspired by Anthony Bourdain, the king of foodies & storytelling via food. I'm so happy to shine a spotlight on food, eating, meals, women and how we feel about our bodies. Eli Escobar who plays Ivette said my play & topic is "fun but important" and that is the best compliment I could hope for as a playwright. I hope you enjoy and laugh and talk about it after.
