DIRECTOR’S NOTE
Charles Linnell, Artistic Director
It feels great to be back in the director’s chair at Kinnelon High School. I stepped away from the position in 2017, after 16 shows at KHS, never imagining that I might one day return to the position in a virtual setting. Thank you to those who have kept the program going the last few years, and thank you to the board and administration for giving me the opportunity again.
This summer, in the middle of the pandemic, my wife and I directed our first virtual production, geared toward elementary/middle school children, with our private theatre company. At the time, there were few resources and available shows. We found our way to a very successful production, as I quickly learned video tech. I’m proud to be able to use those skills here at KHS.
These students (and their director) worked fully remotely to make She Kills Monsters. This show is wonderful piece of art that has gained a deserved audience of late. Thank you to these incredible young actors and actresses who pulled this together! Kudos!
