as Willy Wonka
Hi! I'm Thomas Whitten, and I have been performing in theater for several years, with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory marking my 12th production. Along with Curtain Call, I participate in Tipton Community Theater, where I was cast in my first show as Zazu in "The Lion King Jr." Some of my favorite roles have been Jack Kelly in "Newsies," Lumiere in "Beauty and the Beast," Prince Hans in "Frozen Jr," and Troy in "High School Musical Jr." I am thrilled to be performing in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I hope you enjoy the show!

My name is Elias Record and I am 11 years old. In my spare time, I like to read, sing, play piano, and help lead worship. This is my second show with Curtain Call. I’m glad to be able to work with such an amazing cast and production team. I want to thank everyone who has supported me. I hope you enjoy the show. You never know when you’ll get a golden ticket!

as Grandpa Joe
Making his return since "Newsies," Tyler is excited to be welcomed back by KCCTC to join the cast of "Charlie!" Being the proud father of five incredible children, his role as “Grandpa Joe” is as close as he wants to be to grandparenthood right now! And although his role as Charlie Brown in 8th grade was what first broadened his love for theater, this role as Grandpa Joe has quickly become his favorite. Tyler wants to give a shout out to Elias, Thomas and the entire cast for helping him stay young at heart, to “never waver”, and for sharing their amazing talents with the entire Kokomo community performance after performance. Tyler also wants to thank Colburn for trusting in his abilities, for encouraging his efforts and for giving him the chance to bring his “inner Grandpa” to life. But most of all, Tyler wants to thank his amazing wife, Ann, for always supporting him in his crazy adventures in life! She’s made his life so much sweeter through the years!
