    Kelly Finley

    Director

    Kelly moved to the LaGrange area from Texas in the 1980’s. She graduated from LaGrange Academy and received a Communications and Theatre Arts Degree from Mercer University.  Kelly has worked in Regional theatre in IN, KY, and here in GA as stage manager, tour manager and actor. She also worked in film and television, appearing in Drop Dead Divas and Vampire Diaries. She had the great privilege to portray Brenda Layfield in the independent film, Holden On. 

    Kelly Finley has worked with LTC since its first production, Bus Stop, as an actor, director, and stage manager. Some of her favorite roles have been Vera in And Then There Were None, Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Josefa in A Shot in the Dark. For the past five years, Kelly has taught the K-12 Theatre Arts program at LaGrange Academy the last 5 years. Her involvement with LSPA has been extremely rewarding and she appreciates every day spent in such a supportive and creative environment.

    Maya Turner

    Stage Manager

    Maya is happy to be spending time in the theatre as opposed to her Classroom/Office/Bedroom. She is in her junior year at Savannah College of Art and Design and taking online classes during the pandemic. Maya is majoring in Photography. This is her third show with LTC. She thanks you for supporting the arts especially during these challenging times. Enjoy the show.

    Janet Powell

    Costumes

    Janet is a retired director of orchestras at the former West Side Magnet School.  She has a degree in Textiles and Design from UGA and a Bachelor Degree of Music from CSU. Some of the shows that she has previously costumed are Mame, Amahl and the Night Visitors, and a number of LSPA productions, including Steel MagnoliasLeading Ladies, and All the King’s Women.  She has also costumed several LTA productions which include Jungle Book and the soon to be performed James and the Giant Peach.  She thanks her husband for his patience with finding odd costume parts, needles, pins, and thread all over the house. Enjoy the show!
