    Shelby Davis

    Shelby a freshman at LOA.  She has previously performed in The Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, and as Donkey in Shrek the Musical.  Shelby enjoys singing, dancing, acting, and entertaining! She also trains and shows horses in Hunter / Jumper English riding competitions. She hopes you relax and enjoy the show!

  • Helen Garcia-Carreras head shot

    Helen Garcia-Carreras

    Helen is a junior at LOA.  She is an avid dancer, singer, instrumentalist, and actress. Previous roles include Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray!, Natalie/Ed in All Shook Up, Lady Larken in Once Upon a Mattress, and appearances in Journey of Perception, High School Musical Jr., and Guys and Dolls Jr. Helen has (co)choreographed HSM, Beauty and the Beast Jr., and Shrek the Musical Jr. She is a Georgia Thespian and has been awarded the All-Star Actress Award at Regional One-Act Competition, passed regional interviews for Governor’s Honors Program in theatre, and performed at District Honor Band twice. She teaches dance at The Arts Barn and she cherishes every moment. Helen plans to attend the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and major in musical theatre or dance. She hopes to perform on Broadway and eventually teach in a middle or high school setting.

  • Joseph Garcia-Carreras head shot

    Joseph Garcia-Carreras

    A senior at LOA, Joseph Garcia is making his theater debut with LOA. In the past, he’s stage managed for All Shook Up and High School Musical with Madison Community Theatre. He also played the Wizard in Once Upon a Mattress, also with MCT. Joseph was involved in making the program for LOA’s production of High School Musical, Jr. as a freshman. A lifelong percussionist, he is playing drums for the LOA jazz band for the fourth year in a row, and was recently named drum captain for LOA’s first ever drumline. Over the last three years, he has logged 100 volunteer hours at a local children's hospital, and one day hopes to enter the field of pediatric medicine.
