Jerod Howard  is an American actor, director, and producer of stage and screen. He is known for a recurring role of Elliot Hamilton for the indie films October Moon and November Son, along with other principle and cameo roles in film and television. Jerod made his directorial debut with Chamber Music by Arthur Kopit and recently co-produced and directed the premiere of Thee Trinity by Emmy nominated writer/producer Richard A. Roberts. Early acting experience began with a community theater production of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (Billy Bibbit). He developed production skills thru theater for young audiences where he worked the trenches with Assistant Director Erin Tetour. He directed three seasons for the Jack Benny Center for the Arts with Stuart Little, The Mischief Makers and The Boy Who Stole the Stars, among others. He collaborated with Three Bros. Theater writing producing and directing The Three Bully Goats Gruff. In a move away from young audience fare, Jerod directed an experimental work titled Strike, a showcase production for Urban Edge with In Grats Fugit, and a musical production of Godspell for Remzephyr Productions.

Other production credits include assistant direction for The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, art design for Into the Woods, Inherit the Wind and The Lion in Winter. Stage managing credits include Breaking Legs by Tom Dulac and All In the Timing by David Ives. Jerod has also collaborated with the Chicago Writers Group at Stage 773. At one point, he was know to operate lights and sound for French Gray featuring Maggie Speer for Azusa Productions at the former Heartland Studio Theater, Chicago. Jerod studied with the Acting Studio and the Second City of Chicago.
