Director
Carly holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Brenau University/Gainesville Theater Alliance and has directed or choreographed more than 40 children’s theater productions. She has a strong passion for children’s theater and finds working with students of all ages to be personally rewarding by helping them build their self-confidence and talents on stage.

Manali Sunkara
Assistant Director
Manali is thrilled to be assistant directing The Yellow Boat and recently had the opportunity to co-direct Ordinary Days. These kids have worked incredibly hard and she is so proud. She would like to thank Carly for having faith in her ability to lead and make choices in this process. She felt like a true collaborator and will treasure the skills she’s gained. Enjoy!

Jackson King
Benjamin
Jackson is a sophomore & excited to be playing Benjamin! His past roles have included The Cat in the Hat in “Seussical”, Fyedka in “Fiddler on the Roof” & Gaston in “Beauty and the Beast”. He wants to thank Christie Urbina & Jared Guerrasio for being his parents & encouraging him through this, his director Ms. Berg, & Audrey Stephens for helping him develop this character.

Christiana is a senior and is excited to perform in Yellow Boat. She would like to thank family and friends for always supporting her, and she would like to thank Ms. Carly for such an amazing chance to play this role. She would also like to thank Jared Guerrasio and Jackson King for being the best husband and son she could hope for.

Father
Jared is a Junior at Lambert and he is super excited to portray the role of Father in The Yellow Boat. His previous roles consist of Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Ren McCormack in Footloose, Mike Costa in A Chorus Line, and Fred Casely in Chicago. He would like to thank his wife Daisy Tellulah Franklyn and hopes you enjoy the show!
