Note From the Director
Welcome to our production of The Drowsy Chaperone! As a teacher who is new to this program, I can honestly say this experience has been one of the most fulfilling and heartwarming journeys I’ve had the privilege of being a part of. From the very first rehearsal to the final performance, the dedication and hard work of our students have truly been inspiring. It’s no small feat to bring a show like this to life and our cast, crew, and musicians have poured their hearts and talents into every moment on stage.
I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to acknowledge the incredible support and collaboration of our staff. Behind every costume, every set piece and every note, there is a team of individuals whose tireless efforts made this production possible. Their guidance and patience have made all the difference in ensuring that this show has been not just a performance, but a celebration of creativity and community. I'd especially like to thank my Studio teaching partners, Paul Spelt and Victoria St. Germain, for their encouragement, support, and for welcoming me to Lambrick so warmly this year.
The beauty of The Drowsy Chaperone is its whimsical charm and its homage to the golden age of Broadway, and our students have embraced the joy of this story with enthusiasm and a sense of fun that is contagious. They’ve put in countless hours of rehearsal, and their commitment to bringing these larger-than-life characters and songs to the stage has been remarkable. I am so proud of everything they’ve achieved, and I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I have enjoyed working with them!
Thank you for joining us in this celebration of theatre and for supporting these talented young artists!
