Welcome to our production of Newsies!
As we come to the end of the production period, there are many people we would like to thank. Jack - for building these beautiful set pieces, and for your technical help. Alexa - for bringing New York City to life with your creativity and artistic eye. Patty - for your willingness to assist with anything needed: costumes, picking up supplies, staying late with students, the list goes on. Enid - for your help with costuming a cast of over 50 actors. Lori - for returning to the theater program to help with all things "props". Chloe - for crazily agreeing once again to stage-manage the show, and for all your help during the production period; you are a rock star! The Crew - for making the set changes look flawless, and for giving us light and sound. And lastly, Cooney and Darcy - for ticket sales, announcements, and just general awesomeness.
Nicki would like to thank Kenny for being the best Co-Director ever, and the production team for bringing our vision of Newsies to life! She would also like to thank her husband for the endless support year after year.
Kenny would like to thank the production team for agreeing to do Newsies this year, and for entrusting Nicki and him with the creative choices in all aspects of the show. He would also like to thank Nicki for her hard work and dedication to this production, and for being an amazing Co-Director. It’s always fun to work with you!
To the cast and crew: congratulations on another fantastic production here at Lamoille Union Theater. Your hard work and dedication are appreciated so much! Now is the time to seize the day, get out there, carry your banners, stand tough and tall, and enjoy every moment of your performances. All for one, and one for all!
