Synopsis
Set in 18th-century England, Tom Jones follows the romantic misadventures of a charming, good-hearted foundling raised by the kind Squire Allworthy. Although Tom longs for the beautiful and virtuous Sophia Western, his impulsive nature and tangled web of admirers—and enemies—lead him through a hilarious gauntlet of mistaken identities, scandals, swordfights, and family feuds.
This fast-paced farce, filled with over-the-top characters and laugh-out-loud moments, is a spirited adaptation of Henry Fielding’s classic novel. Will true love conquer all… or will society’s expectations get in the way?
A delightful romp through corsets, confusion, and comedy.

Spring Musical
Join us on March 5, 6, and 7, 2026, at the Lampeter-Strasburg High School Performing Arts Center for Urinetown.
Urinetown: The Musical is a darkly comedic satire set in a dystopian future where a severe water shortage has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. Citizens must pay to use public amenities run by the corrupt megacorporation Urine Good Company. When an ordinary man named Bobby Strong decides to stand up against the system and lead a revolution for the right to pee freely, chaos and hilarity ensue. Blending sharp social commentary with over-the-top musical numbers, Urinetown cleverly parodies both classic Broadway and real-world issues of greed, power, and environmental collapse—all while breaking the fourth wall to remind audiences they’re watching a musical that knows exactly how ridiculous it is.
