A Note from the President
Hello and welcome to My First Musical: a Cabaret! I'm so excited to present this show to you all, full of amazing talent from all of our performers and a passion for theatre that radiates out of each and every one of them.
From the record number of amazing auditions to casting our show and starting rehearsals, there was a sense of joy and fun that came with this production. Each rehearsal allowed our cast to shine as bright as possible while also being a rehearsal room full of laughs. That is largely due to the amazing bond the production team created. Luca, Carly, and Ava, I feel so grateful for you all and to have been able to work with you on this show! You all bring such a balance of professionalism and whimsy to the room that I can only hope to have again in future projects. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for everything in between!
I am thrilled for you all to see the product of our hard work, featuring performances by some of the most talented folks at NYU. Each of these pieces has some significance to us, and we hope that they continue to inspire people to journey into theatre as they did for all of us.
With all of that being said, I hope you enjoy the show! Thank you for coming out to support student-led theatre and theatre for young audiences tonight. Enjoy!
