Malaika Ankrah, Kofi Ansah-Brew
as Shrek/Papa Ogre
Malaika Ankrah is a senior at Laurel High School. You may remember him as "Little Green Turtle" in this year's Arts Week Performance. This is Malaika's first performance in a musical, but Malaika has been in Chamber Choir his entire high school career. After high school he would like to stop being single. To Malaika, music is life.
Kofi Ansah-Brew, a senior of Laurel High School, was introduced to the piano by his father at age six and has not stopped playing since. Kofi has accompanied at the Class of 2013 and Class of 2015 graduation ceremonies and other school events. He also took the challenge of being the co-pianist in“Willy Wonka”.
This experience sparked his interest in the vocal and theatrical arts. In his junior year, he played Nick Piazza in “Fame! The Musical.” Kofi later performed in “The Bottom of Lake Missoula,” and “Speed Dating.”
In his undergraduate education he plans on studying the Arts and computer engineering.

Andrea Bamfo

Andrea Bamfo is a junior at Laurel High School. She is a part of Laurel High School's Women's Choir and enjoys drawing, reading, and musicals. This is her first high school production, and she hopes to be part of future productions.

Favour Ubani

Favour Ubani is a junior at Laurel High School. She is a master of literature and a Class A novelist. Favour has always had a passion for musical theatre. Her favorite musicals include "Sweeney Todd," "Les Miserables," and the first "High School Musical." This is her first production at Laurel High School, but not her last.

Olivia Perkins
as Adult Fiona
Olivia Perkins is what her Performing Arts Department teachers call a triple thread. Olivia sings, dances, and acts, and has studied all of these things at Laurel, much to the joy of her teachers. Audiences may remember her performance as Mabel last year in "Fame." Olivia is a senior at Laurel and next year hopes to begin college in hopes of ultimately doing even more great and wonderful things.
