The Janitor's Closet
The first time I read Janitor’s Closet, it was around 1 AM in my kitchen and I remember being blown away. Audrey managed to write with exquisite subtlety and specificity.
That was back in October, when I was preparing for the first staged reading of the show in which I played Delilah. From the beginning this piece hit home for me, and looking at it from a new perspective as a director has been joyfully insightful. Working with Maddie, Jake, and Audrey, on this show has been full of hard work, laughs, and good times. I’m so excited to share this story with you today.

Riley Dun feels immense pride for his incredible cast, and would like to thank all artists who were a part of the Leatherbound NewWorks Festival. It has been such an honor to work with Sarah on Childish, as well as every director who put their all into their shows.
Riley would also like to thank his cast for having the utmost professionalism at all times. They were a pleasure to work with, and he looks forward to enhancing his experience in directing in the future.
