CAMILLE - 70s. Single and absolutely always ready to mingle. Camille is friendly to everyone, and always looks her best, because you never know when Cupid's arrow will strike. 

 

HOPE - 70s. Married to Nigel, who is as perpetually negative as she is, and loves her for it. 

 

NIGEL - 70s. Married to Hope, stuck in his ways, loves his wife and loves complaining about things with her. 

 

FLO - 70s. Type-A to the extreme. Highly competitive. Traditional. Flo is married to Donny, and the two of them have run the H.O.A. together for more than a decade. 

 

DONNY - 70s. A competitive, egotist who likes to be in charge of things. Married to Flo. 

 

RUPERT - 70s. A naturally inert person. Married to his total opposite, Rosie. 

 

ROSIE - 70s. Active and outgoing. More open to change than her husband Rupert. 

 

JULIE - 70s. A former minor character on a soap opera. Julie is fun, if not a bit self-centered. She fancies herself a glamorous person and dresses accordingly. Married to Albert.

 

ALBERT - 70s. A former regional car dealership commercial director, and Julie's husband. A bit cheesy, but loveable. 

 

NED - 70s. Obsessed with "his day" and the notion that it was somehow better. 

ASSISTANT - 70s. An art assistant. 

 

MITZI - 70s. A worldly and cultured senior who is making the most of retirement. Married to Jerry. Mitzi and Jerry are new to Palm Tree Pines. 

 

JERRY - 70s. Hip and happy in love with Mitzi. Outgoing and openminded.

 

BRUNO - 70s - 80s. The main waiter at Palm Tree Pines Cafe. Extremely forgetful and eccentric. 

 

PAULINE - 70s. A perky and excessively energetic exercise teacher. 

 

COOPER - 70s. The adult ed teacher. Enthusiastic about things that many people may find boring. 

 

AMY - 20s. A grad student. Sweet and bubbly. Maybe too bubbly. 

 

ZACH - 20s. A med school student. Bookish and kind.

 

TONI - 20s. A grad student. Fun and carefree.
