DIRECTOR'S NOTE

It has been a fun and crazy year in Elementary Theatre! These pirates have definitely been an adventure, and I am so happy with how much they have learned and grown since we started. I love these buckaroos so much!

“What do ya say, me girl? Are you up for adventurin?”

Jessica Jacob represents so many of us, both young and old. She wants to experience adventure and excitement, see new things, and escape her backyard. Yet when she does, she slowly discovers that the routines of home and everyday life are what actually bring her the most comfort. She learns what matters most in life - home and family.  I hope that everyone in this cast, and in the audience, can take the simple sweet message of this show to heart, and think about what matters most in your life. It’s great to sail off on adventure every now and then - but don’t forget where your heart truly lies, and to thank God for those blessings every day.

And don’t forget to brush your teeth.
