Maria Reep Childers
as Truvy Jones
Maria Childers was born and raised in Lincolnton. She is a graduate of West Lincoln High School and Appalachian State University. She has been employed with Lincoln County Schools for 20 years as the Communities In Schools Student Support Specialist at two of the best schools in Lincoln County, North Lincoln Middle and East Lincoln Middle School. In her spare time she enjoys coaching boys and girls soccer and basketball cheerleading at North Lincoln Middle. She lives in Cherryville with her husband Chip, daughter Madison, and son, Jackson. She also has three step-children, Nick, Coleman and Bailey Childers. This is Maria’s first production with the Lincoln Theater Guild. The movie Steel Magnolias was always a favorite of hers to watch with her mother and she is thrilled and grateful to be playing Truvy alongside this amazing cast of ladies.

Callie Cope
as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto
Callie Cope is a senior theatre major at Lenoir-Rhyne University. She owns her own business as a princess performer and also is a seamstress who designs her own costumes. Callie would like to thank her family and friends for all the support!This is her first performance on the LTG stage and she is so excited to bring to this amazing show with an amazing group of ladies.

Jill Heafner
as Clairee Belcher
Jill is delighted to be portraying Clairee in the 2019 production of Steel Magnolias. She has fond memories of portraying another favorite character, Ouiser in the 2013 production of the play. Since retiring from public school teaching in 2014, Jill has performed on community theatre stages in Lincolnton, Cherryville, Kings Mountain, Newton, Hickory, Shelby, and Rutherfordton. Additional favorite roles have been Ruth/Madam Arcardi in Blithe Spirit, Mrs. Dubose in To Kill A Mockingbird, Veta Simmons in Harvey, Abby Bewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, and Mysterious Woman in Thunder Over Carolina. She has enjoyed working with such a talented director, cast and crew.
