Welcome to our production of 13: The Musical!

It is truly an honor to bring this vibrant, heartwarming, and incredibly relatable story to life with such a talented group of students. As you watch, you will witness the journey of Evan Goldman, a 13-year-old navigating the ups and downs of preteen life, friendships, and growing pains – themes that resonate deeply with all of us, especially at that age.

This production holds a special place in our hearts as Jesse Fulton (Assistant Director) and I both performed the very same musical back in 2014, when we attended Lindero Canyon Middle School. Being on this same stage once again, but this time guiding the next generation of performers, is a full-circle moment that makes this experience even more meaningful. Many elements of our past production have been recycled and reused in this one, such as the cheer costumes you see in “Opportunity” and Archie’s crutches.

We are also fortunate to have our music director, Karis Brizendine, another proud LCMS alum, joining us for this production. Having had the chance to perform and learn here ourselves, it feels like coming home. We all share the same passion for this school, its community, and the power of theater to create lasting memories.

Thank you for supporting our students and joining us on this nostalgic, yet incredibly fresh adventure. We hope this show reminds you of the challenges and triumphs we all face as we transition through these formative years.
