Thank you to Mr. Cory Speakman for suggesting such a fun production and for the many hours you dedicated to making sure that we sounded incredible! We couldn't sound so wonderful without you.
To Ms. Shaw, Mrs. Addison, Mrs. Silvers, Mrs. Sasser, and Mr. Hulsey, I cannot thank you enough for all of your help and constant support. Without your willingness to donate your time and energy into our production, I personally would fall apart. Whether making sure we have wings or watching and loving these kids, you are so appreciated.
Thank you to Jace Haney for donating so many hours of your time to working with these students on dance, through which they learn character, story, and so much more. You encourage them, push them, and believe in them, and it shows in what they put on the stage. I love remembering your time as a student here at Little Mill, and now watching you in the same space help our young cast grow is inspiring. We’re all lucky to have you.
We have the most incredible people around us every day, so thanks to the LMMS Staff & Adminstration. I can't imagine how we could possibly feel more support, as we are always given whatever we need, and I want you all to know that we’re aware of how lucky we are!
Thanks to West Forsyth High School for generously allowing us the use of many set pieces!
Thank you to NFHS and North High Drama for allowing us to invade your space. Middle school students can be intimidating, but you've welcomed us with open arms. We’re so grateful for the experience we’re able to have here. Special thanks to those students helping us out- we couldn’t do it without you!
Anything’s possible!
This is Jojo’s belief, and it has been our recurring message this year in LMMS Drama. As one of the 7 Mindsets that we focus on here in the Forsyth County North Cluster, it’s a message that every single person needs to hear, both as children and adults.
In the world of Seuss we can have pink skies and flying elephants, but in our world the miraculous may be a bit harder to see. Some journeys and problems can seem overwhelming, but they don’t have to be. Like Jojo, we need to remember that no matter how much bigger than us the problem seems, we can still be a part of the solution. A musical starts as words on a page, so bringing the story to life can be a miracle in itself. This is the idea that I hope our students take away from this experience, and it’s the message I hope that you as an audience member will leave the theatre with today.
Enjoy the show!
