Little Theater of Gastonia

 Who's Who

  • Melody Surrett head shot

    Melody Surrett

    as Truvy Jones

Melody Surrett (Truvy) is an AP Literature teacher at Clover High School.  Melody Surrett last appeared on the LTG stage as Rhonda in Southern Hospitality. She lives in Clover, SC, loves teaching, and wishes to thank her family, friends, and fellow cast members for their support.  She also thanks Sheri for giving her another opportunity to perform at LTG.

  • Lauren S. Parker head shot

    Lauren S. Parker

    as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto

Lauren S. Parker *(Annelle) is happy to be onstage for the first time in almost six years! Usually Lauren is found directing or otherwise working at the Little Theater of Gastonia, but is proud to finally be making her debut on the LTG stage! Even though Lauren can’t tell the difference from a hair straightener and a hair curler, this is the second time she has found herself portraying a hair stylist, with her last appearance on stage being Paulette in Legally Blonde. When not inside the theater, Lauren enjoys spending time with her ‘might-be-a-dangerous-criminal’ partner Ethan, and their two children—Aria Saige and Roen: thank you guys, for pushing me to get back on stage. Lauren dedicates every performance to her Baw Baw, who  she knows would have loved to be in the seats but has to watch this one from Heaven.

  • Nancy Boyd Lemke head shot

    Nancy Boyd Lemke

    as Clairee Belcher

Nancy Boyd Lemke (Clairee) is thrilled to be back on the LTG stage for the 6th time. She has performed in Children of Eden, Defying Gravity, Red Velvet Cake Wars, Rex's Exes, and Last Round-Up of the             Guacamole Queens. She is a mother of 2 adult children and married to Bob. Thanks to Sheri for the opportunity and to Melanie & crew who keep it moving.

  • Catherine Morales head shot

    Catherine Morales

    as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie

Catherine Morales *(Shelby) is excited to be part of her first LTG production! After moving to NC from VA this summer, she has enjoyed exploring the area and getting involved in the community. Her last show was the Green Room Community Theatre’s production of “Much Ado About Nothing,” where she played Beatrice. Thank you to the cast and crew for all their hard work!
