Halee Sager, 6th Grade
as Laozi
My experience in theater began with Los Berros VAPA musical theater, drama, and choir electives. I have also had roles in various plays: “Life Cycle”, “Yes Virginia”, “Willy Wonka Jr.”, and most recently in “Jungle Book”. My passion is also in dance, tap, and ballet. All of these interests have enabled me to perform on stage, allowing me to become the character that I am portraying, which is fulfilling my dreams of being a part of the theater. I want to thank my parents and family for supporting me and taking me to practice and rehearsals. I also want to thank Ms. Raines for continuing to believe in me and making this production come alive.

My experience in theater began when I transfered from my old school to Los Berros. When I moved to Los Berros it sparked my love for theater. This is when I started taking musical theater and choir. I have performed in “Yes, Virginia” and “Willy Wonka, Jr.” I would like to thank Mrs. Foss, who taught me to never give up, Mrs. Middleton, who taught me to always believe in myself, and Ms. Raines, who taught me how to use my time wisely. Also, my friends for always being there not just for me but for each other which always makes me happy. This is my last year at Los Berros so I will try my best in my role.

I first developed a love for theater in third grade when I started going to Los Berros Visual and Performing Arts Academy. I played in “Willy Wonka, Jr.”, in LYT’s “Nutcracker Mini Musical” and “Schoolhouse Rock”. I am also on the Los Berros VAPA Dance Team. I love to sing, dance and play basketball but my favorite things to do are play with my dog and shop. Thank you Mom, Dad and my brother, Max, for being so supportive of me acting. Hope you enjoy the show everyone!
