Whether you grew up reading this book series or not, I think you will find you can relate to this story in one way or another. In this musical the characters and anecdotes from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books come to life as we follow the "wimpy kid" Greg Heffley through his first year of middle school.

Middle school is hard. It can be really hard. But if you're reading this, you either 1) have made it through middle school - hooray! OR 2) you will make it through middle school - hooray! 

I hope you leave the theater today having laughed and with the reminder that your friends, family and doing the right thing outweigh the importance of being popular and the threat of mysterious cheese.

Thanks to the cast, crew, designers, production teams, management team, artistic team, and many volunteers for bringing this show to life and on stage. And a special thanks to my “biffle” who I’d be entirely lost without!
