Frozen was the perfect musical to "Let The Sun Shine On" another year of productions by the LOLMS drama club. Students adjusted to the challenging demands of a shortened production time (A full two weeks less than last year!), and put in the hard work that a theatrical production takes - learning our roles, working together, gaining confidence as newcomers and developing leadership skills as returning members, receiving feedback...the list goes on! The journey may not have always been filled with feelings of "Hygge", but we can all look back with pride on what we have accomplished and the memories made along the way.
The Svens (Mrs. Ventres and Mrs. Evans) have enjoyed bringing the newest Disney classic to life. Mrs. Ventres is very grateful to have our new band director, Mrs. Evans, join the production team this year, and is excited for many more productions to come! We are appreciative of the continued work by Ms. Aldrich to provide props and backstage management throughout the journey.
Of course, we could never get through this process without the backbone of our production: Parents! From getting our cast costumed and helping with stage make-up, to running concessions, donating snacks to our long days, and getting your child to and from rehearsals - this could never happen without you and your support. Thank you!
And now it's time to sit back, relax and "Let it Go"!
