Greetings, dear mortals, and welcome to The Addams Family Musical! We’ve had the pleasure of bringing to life a delightfully creepy tale that’s cookier, spookier, and far more pecuLIAR than your usual evening’s entertainment. As you step into the wonderfully macabre world of the Addamses, prepare to witness what happens when our beloved Wednesday Addams falls in love with someone utterly… normal. What could possibly go wrong....or right? This delightful nightmare reminds us all that no matter how strange—or wonderfully strange—our families may be, love, honesty and support are at the beating heart (or lack thereof) of it all.
Now, a few shivers of gratitude are in order! We want to extend a grave thank you to the parents and families of our cast and crew. Your support and dedication have been more essential than the moonlight on a cold, stormy night. To our ghastly good-hearted volunteers, who toiled in the shadows and summoned the Addams mansion into existence—thank you for your wickedly wonderful work on the set! And, of course, to the administration—thank you for embracing the odd and allowing us to create this spooky spectacle with your undying support.
A special (and slightly tearful) thank you to our seniors. As you prepare to exit this strange, theatrical world, know that your leadership, talent, and eerie dedication have left a lasting mark—like a perfect cobweb that should never be swept away. We are immensely proud of you and cannot wait to see the paths you will follow in the future. (don't forget your crossbow and permit)
Now, sit back (but do not relax), and prepare to be enchanted, entertained, and maybe a little engrossed. Thank you for joining us on this strange and glorious journey into the unknown of Central Park, New York!
With ghastly gratitude,
Karina Nonnemacher & Travis Balt
