 Who's Who

  • Caroline Pletcher head shot

    Caroline Pletcher

    as Penny

Caroline Pletcher was born in Mount Vernon just a few decades ago. As a child, she was involved in soccer, softball, basketball, band, gymnastics, and cheerleading. However, all other athletic accomplishments paled in comparison to her track feats. Caroline earned conference honors in high school and competed in college athletics where she set four school records and qualified for NCAA nationals in the heptathlon. In addition to her athletic prowess, she excelled in academics and was often an honor roll student. Caroline graduated magna cum laude from Capital University with a BA in mathematics. While teaching full time, she earned her master’s degree in special education. Caroline continued her post graduate education when she earned a license in gifted education from Cincinnati University. A teacher for 19 years, Caroline also enjoys teaching on the track as well as the classroom. When not working, she enjoys theater and spending time with her family.
