Director's Note
Two years ago, for my first year as director for Macopin Middle School we decided to do "Frozen Jr." The show was cast, blocked, choreographed and the students were so incredibly excited to get it off its feet. Unfortunately, shortly before we opened, the show was shut down due to Covid. The cast continued to practice virtually in hopes that we would eventually be able to open but sadly we were unable to. I would like to thank that first cast of “Frozen Jr.” that initially brought my vision of this show to life. That production will always have a place in my heart and I am still so proud of all of the work you all put into it.
I next would like to thank my incredible team without whom this show would not be possible. A huge thank you to Mrs. Kaczor, Mrs. Ziegenbalg, Mrs. Poat and Mr. Paccione for helping bring this production to the stage. I am honored to get to work with such incredible educators and to get to collaborate with you all each year. It truly takes a village to direct a show and I am thankful to have you all by my side.
I would also like to thank the wonderful cast and crew of “Frozen Jr.” These students have been working so incredibly hard to bring these characters to life and worked so well together. It has been such a pleasure having a cast that were so responsible and willing to step in to do anything that needed to be done. They went above and beyond throughout this entire production and I am so grateful for all of their help, patience and trust.
A big thank you to the West Milford Board of Education, Superintendent, Dr. Anemone, Macopin Principal, Marc Citro, and Macopin Assistant Principal, Oliver Pruksarnukul for their continued support.
Lastly, thank you to all of the parents, teachers and friends who helped make this show possible. Parents, thank you for all of your help, flexibility and patience. Thank you for all of your support for this production.
I hope you enjoy our production of “Frozen Jr.”
