DIRECTOR'S NOTE
It is hard to believe that this is the 12th musical season I have been involved in at Manassas Park High School. Every year I find myself in awe of students ability to shine on stage and this year is no different! The actors that you see on stage have put in long hours of rehearsal, even more hours of practice on their own, and much work digging deep within themselves to pull out difficult and mature emotions that make Rent such a touching and powerful musical. I am extremely proud of every single person who has been involved in this production. The level of commitment from the actors, creative team, and production team were above and beyond. Working alongside director Sarah Ignatius has been a true pleasure. Her expertise as a director has been inspiring to watch and I am positive that the students have learned a tremendous amount from her throughout this production.
Thank you all for your support of the theatre department at Manassas Park High School. I hope that you enjoy our production of Rent: School Edition!
