Manzano Day School

 A Bit About the Team

  • Jamie Jones, Director

Music Director and Eastman School of Music graduate Jamie Jones has been a music teacher at Manzano Day School for 10 years and an educator since becoming a private oboe instructor in her teens. Jamie has a diverse performing arts career, having been a band director, choral instructor, theatre teacher, private teacher, professional oboist, and (her favorite!) a general music educator. Jamie loves to inspire lifelong love of music by encouraging students to discover music literacy through play. She is a proud military wife and mother of two budding muscians. Jamie would like to thank her family for their extraordinary support!

  • Lindsay Shettlesworth, Choreographer

Lindsay Shettlesworth began her dance training at the age of 5 in Danville, CA, and hasn't stopped dancing since!  Trained in classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance techniques, Lindsay was awarded a dance scholarship to attend the University of Arizona and completed her college dance studies at the University of California at Irvine.  She has taught dance to children and adults in California, Texas, and for the last 16 years, here in Albuquerque at Keshet Dance and Center for the Arts.  Lindsay is absolutely thrilled to be a part of Finding Nemo Jr. and has thoroughly enjoyed sharing her love of dance with the 5th grade students at Manzano Day School.

  • Chad Scheer, Sound Engineer

Chad came to New Mexico after engineering for twelve years based in New York City. Chad likes playing his bass and Ultimate Frisbee when not running audio for several bands' venues and theatrical groups around the country. This will be Chad's sixteenth year working with the Manzano Day School Fifth Grade Musical.
