From the Director:
Oh, what a difference a year makes! Who would have thought a year ago that the world would look so different. Like Moana, we are all on a journey. Moana feels the Ocean calling her, we as Christians have Jesus calling us. He is calling us to rest close to Him, trust in Him and keep our eyes on Him! Especially during difficult times we need to keep our hearts and minds on Him and not the world.
This musical adaptation of the 2016 animated movie brings the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life on our stage. You will hear some of the most iconic songs including "How Far I'll Go" and "You're Welcome" by the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa'i and Mark Mancina.
This heartwarming story of the strong willed Moana trying to find her way and venturing out beyond the reef is captivating. You will meet her friends Hei Hei, Pua and of course the very charismatic Maui. Moana shows bravery when faced with difficulties, she doesn't get discouraged and she knows where she must go. We too must show courage through difficulties and not be discouraged knowing that God is with us wherever we go.

My prayer is that you will see the light of Jesus through the performers tonight. That you see their courage and strength as they perform this musical for you!
