Alice Holden-Thomas
I'm 15 and I have been a part of Kaleidoscope for just over 5 years. I loved Kaleidoscope from the moment I started. I think that the troupe has an enormous amount of talent and will continue to do amazing things. Precipice is an incredible show and truly deserves to be performed at the SKYCITY Theatre. I wouldn't be who I am without Kaleidoscope. I have gained so much more confidence and so many friends. Thank you Kathy, Tineka, Margarita and everyone else involved.

Alice Karetai
34 years old, I am of Maori descent. My iwi are Kai Tahu, Kati Mamoe, and Waitaha. I grew up on Waiheke but have spent much of my adult life travelling the world. I first joined Kaleidoscope the second year after Kathy came to Waiheke island, twenty years ago. I went to see Kathy's first show, and knew immediately that it was the place for me. I love performing; the magic and the terror of it. I am a piano teacher and a single mother of two. My girls and I all enjoy performing arts (especially drama!). I hope Kaleidoscope continues to offer its incredible and original approach to performing arts for many years to come so my daughters can enjoy it as much as I do. I'm 14 years old, and I have been part of Kaleidoscope for 6 years. A great way to keep me fit and agile. It's like being part of a big family. It feels good to be part of something with really important messages that can make a difference in our community and further afield.
