Thank you to the PTO for their support of this production! We are lucky to have such a devoted group of parent volunteers to support our efforts each year.

Parent Volunteers: Thank you does not seem like enough to thank the parents for all that you do to support this program. Without your help with chaperoning, party planning, driving back and forth to rehearsals, meal planners, evening projects, and all of the little details that make the production run so smoothly, THANK YOU! We couldn't have a successful program without all of the hands that go into making every detail come alive.

Some personal notes from the Director: When choosing just the right musical for this talented group of students, we explored so many different options finally deciding on a more traditional musical. When we came upon Bye Bye Birdie, Young Performers’ Edition, we knew it was the right choice for this year's cast. Because there are so many talented young actors in this cast, choosing the actors to fill each role was probably one of the most challenging casting sessions I've experienced in the 13 years I've been directing the show at Markham Place. I couldn't be any more "Honestly Sincere" when I say it has been a pleasure to work with all of the students in cast and crew of the show; watching them grow in confidence, character, and maturity. I hope this show helps you "Put on a Happy Face!"

Thank you, Ms. Jennifer Brush, for being my sidekick in this musical adventure. I really couldn't do it without you. I know I never have to worry about the musical details because of your amazing talent!

Finally, to my family: Throughout the last few months, you have all provided me with the support, inspiration, encouragement, and love that I needed in order to dedicate my time to my students. Mom and dad, your dedication and time you've given to both me and to my students never go unnoticed. I really couldn't do any of this without the endless conversations about scenery, costumes, and staging that start (sometimes even before the play has been picked). To Rob, thank you for always being willing to put your artistic talents to good use in painting the beautiful scenery every year. Elizabeth, Anthony, Michelle, Alexander, Maggie, Lily and Frankie (the newest addition to our family), I love you all for supporting me, making me laugh when it was needed, and helping with all of the little details. I love you all very much.
