Good Evening, Ladies and Gentlemen ---
Marquette Catholic High School returns to it grand history of one acts plays in the black box setting with "It's Just Shakespeare . . . What Could Go Wrong?" This production is composed of 3 comedic one act plays using the works of William Shakespeare to spin their stories: "Casting Juliet" by Claudia Haas; "Sorry, Shakespeare!" by Mike Willis; and "Desperate Housewives of Shakespeare" by Jane and Jim Jeffries. The genre is comedy.
I have been blessed with a talented group of students to work with. Form the actors to the technicians, business team to cosmetology group, they have planned, prepared, rehearsed and performed as young professionals. Each have dedicated themselves to making this production the very best it can be. I am so very proud of them.
Many people travel the world and pay great amounts of money for the privilege to meet their favorite actors and actresses and see them perform. I am so blessed that I merely need to come to the Marquette Stage each day to see mine.
