Brief Synopsis
Pippin is a "show-within-a-show."
Pippin is looking for his purpose in life while a troupe of players and their leader simultaneously manipulate him into doing what is best for their show. Pippin is leading his actual life but is also aware that he is the show's main character.
The orchestra, crew and the audience are all a part of the show too!
