Noël Bethea

Director

This is Noel's 4th year teaching Musical theater, playwriting, and technical theater at Matanzas High School and 30th year of teaching. She is the director of Troupe 7108. In her spare time, Noel enjoys practicing yoga, cooking for her family, and playing with her dog, Sandy on the water. She dedicates this show to the class of 2020.
Amanda Cypert

Assistant Director

Amanda Cypert is the Assistant Director and has been a huge help for the past four years of theatre at Matanzas. “I am a math teacher at Matanzas High School, but have enjoyed being the Assistant Director for the Pirate Players the past 4 years. I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, going to the beach, and traveling. I want to thank the cast and crew for working so hard to make this an amazing experience.”
Ethan Fink

Student Director

Ethan Fink is a Junior at Matanzas and he is the Student Director. He has also appeared as one of the Happy People and Farquaad’s Guards in Shrek the Musical, Shermy in A Charlie Brown Christmas, Foreman in 12 Angry Jurors, Freddy in Carrie the Musical, Jake in Our Place, Hans in Frozen Jr., and Shakespearean Actor #2, Romeo, Brutus, and Charmian in How to Survive Being in a Shakespeare Play. “I want to thank my parents mostly for helping me get myself best prepared for this show over the past couple of years. I wouldn't be able to do this if it weren't for the support I get from them encouraging me to continue to do what I love doing. I want to thank the seniors as well who were in the show last year and graduated to come see it in the audience, and to Mrs. Bethea, the director, for pushing me to do my best throughout every single rehearsal and throughout this entire show.”
Isabel Bethea

Student Choreographer

Isabel Bethea is a Junior at Matanzas and she is the Student Choreographer. She has also appeared as Joy in Yellow Boat, Beth in Our Place, Juror #12 in 12 Angry Jurors, and Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. “I would like to thank my mom for supporting me.”
