Ryan Buono

as Young Simba

Ryan Buono is playing the role of Young Simba in this year’s musical “The Lion King Jr.” This is his second musical performance. He was previously cast as Zeke in last year’s production of “High School Musical Jr.” Ryan is a seventh grader at MMS. He would like to thank his family for letting him participate in this year’s musical.
Trevor Fry

as Banzai

Trevor is a 7th grader at MMS and he is thrilled to play the role of Banzai in his 2nd musical. Some hobbies that Trevor has are playing the cello, singing in the chorus, and playing with his cats.
HopeAnne King

as Young Nala

HopeAnne King is 12 years old and has been on stage since she was 4 years old with her family’s band, The King’s Strings. She started acting at 8 years old at the former Allenberry Playhouse, performing in Annie (orphan) and 2 Christmas shows before the Playhouse closed. She is excited to be performing as Young Nala in The Lion King!
Hope Knisley

as Pumbaa

Hope is an 8th grader this year at MMS. She is very excited to play the part of Pumbaa with her close buddy Elizabeth Vilgliano as Timon, this year in The Lion King Jr. She has been in plays every summer for the Mechanicsburg Rec Department theater camp. You can find her at her church playing the part of Sam in the childrens ministry. She enjoys drumming, dancing, singing, playing the ukulele, acting, and learning new instruments. She hopes you enjoy the musical this year and she wants you to remember, Hakuna Matata.
