Juana Verdiquio
Juana is an 8th grader who is no stranger to working backstage. She has worked both on and off the stage in her old montessori school. She really enjoys working backstage where she gets the joy of using her drawing and painting skills. Her future plans include being an engineer. Juana also has a younger Spartan memeber here in the 6th grade. She would like to thank her Mom for aways being there for her and encouraging her to live her dreams.

Laura A. Rizzo- Director
Ms. Rizzo is a an award-winning Florida certified theatre teacher, and a professional director and choreographer for the youth. This is her 178th show. She has her doctorate degree in ESOL from NCU, a double masters degree in Ed. Theatre and Dance from NYU (graduating top of her class), and a double bachelors degrees in both drama and dance from Bard College. Ms. Rizzo has performed both on and off Broadway, both performing, directing, and choreographing for her youth international touring company Rising Stars PAC. She has performed at Radio City Music Hall, toured with the American Ballet Theatre, and Broadway Cares. Recently, she has became the proud sponsor of our own MCDS Jr. International Thespian troupe #88062. When not in the theatre, she loves to go to the beach, or sit by the pool and relax. She would like to dedicate this show to her daughter Isabel, and to thank everyone at MCDS for their love and support for her first show here.
