 Director's Note

Each year, as I sit to compose these Director's Notes, I find myself more and more marveled at the immense power theatre eduction has to profoundly shape and transform our students. Being part of a theatrical play or musical exposes students to a wide range of emotions and perspectives, expanding their understanding of themselves, and ultimately, the world.

In a world inundated with technology and the newest gadgets at our fingertips, one thing stands true: nothing will ever replace the impact of real, live, human connection that the theatre offers. Theatre is life! It's a place where sharing a human experience with live actors and live audience members is not only valuable, but also necessary for genuine human connection. It is a magnifying glass allowing us the opportunity to examine our actions, our behaviors, our dreams, and our fears in a way that only the theatre can offer.

I am immensely proud of our wonderful cast and crew for taking part in this inspiring production. We started with a blank slate and with each subsequent rehearsal the vision came to life! My hopes is that they may always be inspired by the magic of theatre and continue developing their creativity.

I truly hope you enjoy the show!

All the world's a stage,
