as Troy Bolton
Asher (Senior) is super excited to be portraying Troy in the High School Musical! When Asher is not on stage, he loves to run and play drums in the MVS Jazz Band! This is Asher's first role in a theater production, and he’s thrilled to be part of such a fun show. He has recently found a love for singing, and joined the MVS acapella group this year, Ars Nova, as a Tenor 2. He would like to thank his parents for always supporting him and give a special shoutout to his brother Alden (Jack Scott) and girlfriend Rylee (Gabriella) for encouraging him to step out of his comfort zone and try theater. Asher is extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this production, and he can't wait to share all of our hard work with you all!

Rylee Boyer
as Gabriella Montez
Rylee (Senior) is so excited to be a part of the High School Musical cast as Gabriella. She has been involved in the musicals at MVS since 5th grade, with her previous roles being, Nala in The Lion King, Mitch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Pugsley in The Addams Family, and Sophie in Mamma Mia. Rylee is also very involved in the acapella group at MVS called Ars Nova, and plans to continue performing in college, as well as majoring in Music Therapy. When Rylee isn't performing, she is running cross-country, playing lacrosse, or thrifting. Rylee is really happy to be performing alongside her boyfriend Asher (Troy), and loves how fun this year's cast community has been. She would like to thank her fellow cast members, for their dedication to the show, her parents, for always supporting her, and her directors for giving her the opportunity to play this role.

Johnathan Pickens
as Ryan Evans
Johnathan (Sophomore) is thrilled to be part of the High School Musical family as Ryan. He has been part of many MVS shows over the past few years including Harold Hill (The Music Man), King Triton (Little Mermaid), Pepper (Mamma Mia). When not involved with theatre, Johnathan spends his time fundraising and studying for Math tests. He would like to thank his family and friends for support during this long process. He hopes you enjoy the enjoy the show!
