Sean Benevento Reverend Shaw Moore
Sean Benevento is ecstatic to be playing Reverend Shaw Moore in the MMS Players production of Footloose The Musical. He would like to thank his family, his voice coach Matthew Surapine, and his acting teacher Karen Summerton for always being there for him. But he would especially like to thank all of the production staff of this musical and the amazing years they have provided. You may have seen him in Cinderella (Mouse/ Townsperson), HSM (Troy Bolton), The Music Man (Marcellus Washburn), Seussical (Horton The Elephant), Newsies (Les), SpongeBob (Patrick), She Loves Me (Arpad Lazlo).
Lena Blumenthal Aunt Lulu
Lena is so excited to be playing Aunt Lulu in Footloose! She has recently been in MMS's productions of Seussical and Cinderella. She would like to thank her parents for their constant support and her voice teacher Matthew Surapine for his help. Lena would also like to give a shout-out to everyone in the cast and crew because it wouldn’t be a show without them. Enjoy the show!
Serafina Buscemi Bomont Teen
Serafina is thrilled to be in the cast of Footloose. After two terrific years with the Middlesex players, she is extremely grateful to finish off her middle school theater career with an extraordinary cast of dedicated actors and actresses. Her latest credits include SpongeBob the Musical (Karen), Seussical (Featured dancer), The Music Man (Ensemble), Cinderella (Featured dancer), Wizard of Oz (Tree #2). She would like to thank her voice teacher, acting coach, and amazing director Ms. Erika Flynn. She would also like to thank Ms. Madi, Mrs. Parnoff, and Ms. Kelsey. Elena Capella Rusty
Elena is thrilled to be in her final show at MMS, Footloose, after being in Seussical (Gertrude) and Cinderella (Portia). Other credits include: SpongeBob (Sandy), Willy Wonka (Violet), The Music Man (Amaryllis), Annie (Annie), Wizard of Oz (Toto), Drowsy Chaperone (Servant), Charlie Brown (Sally Brown), Christmas Story ( Esther Jane), Matilda (Matilda), among others. Elena would like to thank the production team for putting the show together. She would also like to thank her Voice and Acting coach, Regina Elliot, her Piano teacher, Juanita Bosee, and her family for all of their support along the way. And to the cast and crew, Break a leg!
Eliz Coonan Cop, Bomont Adult
Eliz is so thrilled that she got this opportunity to be a part of this production of Footloose. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her throughout the show. She also wants to say thanks to all her theater friends for making this experience more joyful.
Luc deMontravel Rosen Bomont Adult
Luc has been in the theater area for quite a while and has just done the school musical for the first time this year as a Bomont Adult. From things outside of school he has done musicals for his town, singing in bands, and many other things throughout his music career.
Lauren Erdlen Ariel Moore
Lauren is thrilled to be playing Ariel in MMS Players’ Footloose! Lauren has also performed in MMS’s Seussical (Bird Girl #1) and Cinderella (Cinderella). Along with St. Catherine’s Players' Willy Wonka (Veruca) and Annie (Duffy). Other roles include, Cinderella (Stepsister), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), Aladdin (Jasmine) and more at The Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan. Lauren would like to thank her parents and her sisters, Julia and Katelyn, for being so supportive, as well as her amazing teachers Mrs. Parnoff, Ms. Flynn, Ms. Aug, and Ms. Kelsey, also Matthew Surapine and Stuart Sosnoski.
