CAST BIOGRAPHIES

 

Natalie Davies (Percy Talbott) is so excited to be back on stage in The Spitfire Grill! She graduated from Viterbo University’s Conservatory of the Arts with her BFA in Musical Theatre last spring. Currently she works as an elementary school substitute teacher. This is her second show with MPT, her first being Sunday in the Park with George. Other roles include: Babe (The Pajama Game), Rapunzel (Into the Woods), and Liesl (The Sound of Music). Sending love and thanks to Charlie, her parents, and her dog Jasper. Patricia Gullo Hetland (Hannah Ferguson) is grateful to return to the stage with her MPT family this summer. She first worked with MPT back in the day (1994’s City of Angels). Pat has worked as a performer, music director, musician, and stagehand with many groups in the Madison area. Some favorite onstage roles include Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd, Strollers), Jeanette (The Full Monty, MPT), and Jack’s Mother (Into the Woods, MTG). Pat also enjoys performing in pit orchestras on various instruments. Her girls—growing and grown—are her life.

 

Dan Jajewski (Joe Sutter) is thrilled to be returning for his 19th production with MPT! Other shows you may have seen Dan in include All Is Calm (Actor 8), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), Sweeney Todd (Anthony), and Ragtime (Younger Brother). He would like to thank his wife, Kate, for her constant love and support. Enjoy the show!

 

Kate Jajewski (Shelby Thorpe) is thrilled to be back for her 17th production with Middleton Players! She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Theatre & Drama Department’s Acting Specialist program. Previous MPT credits include Musical of Musicals the Musical (June), Parade (Choreographer), Beauty & The Beast, Sunday in the Park with George (Dot), Legally Blonde (Serena), Crazy for You, Ragtime (Emma Goldman), A Chorus Line (Maggie), and RENT. Other credits include Children’s Theatre of Madison’s Stellaluna (Mother Bird); Music Theatre of Madison’s INDECENT (Swing) and Held: A Musical Fantasy (Mera); Four Seasons Theatre’s The Little Mermaid; and Madison Theatre Guild’s Rock of Ages (Sherrie). Endless love to Dan, my favorite goofaloo.

 

Scott Lewis (Caleb Thorpe) He/They is excited to be making their MPT debut with this extremely talented cast. Their most recent credits include: Mullins in Peter Pan (CTM), Dick Wilkens in A Christmas Carol (CTM), Father/Troll/Sasquatch in Monstersongs (MTM). They'd like to thank their Best Friends, Laura & Cassie for being a constant support through thick & thin. 

 

Hannah Makeever (Effy Krayneck) is thrilled to be back at Middleton Players Theatre in Spitfire Grill. She has previously participated in the 2018 and 2019 seasons as ensemble in both Sweeney Todd and Beauty and the Beast. Hannah studied Opera at Luther College where she received her BA in Vocal Music, and she went on to teach voice lessons for 6 years at Monroe Street Arts Center in Madison, WI. She wants to thank her spouse Michael for always supporting her new adventures and keeping her fed and caffeinated for the sake of everyone else.

 

Michael Myers (The Visitor, Caleb u/s) is thrilled to be performing in his first show with the Middleton Players. After graduating from Purdue University, he moved with his now-fiancée to Madison and has loved getting to know the city and surrounding communities. He looks forward to a memorable show with a fantastic cast, and he thanks the family and friends that have always supported his pursuits in the arts!

 

Janey Degnan (Shelby u/s) is thrilled to be joining the cast of The Spitfire Grill. This is her first production with MPT. Outside of the theatre, Janey is an R&D scientist at Elephas. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, reading, hiking, and cuddling with her cats, Polly and Tina. She also recently co-wrote and acted in a short film for the 48 Hour Film Project in Wisconsin.
