 CAST AND STAFF BIOGRAPHIES 

Matthew Albrecht (Lighting Designer) is a Professional Lighting Designer and Associate Professor of Theatre at Millikin University. Matthew is a proud member and currently the Business Agent of IATSE Local 482 Stagehands. Matthew received his BA in Theatre from St. Mary's and his M.F.A from UW-Madison (GO Badgers). In the Midwest, Matt has worked with Peninsula Players, The Hoogland Center, Four Seasons Theatre, University Opera, Madison Theatre Guild, Strollers Theatre, Children’s Theater of Madison, and Oregon Straw Hat Players. In his spare time...which isn't much... Matt can be found enjoying the outdoors or spending time on the lake, at his cabin, or Walt Disney World. Matthew is thrilled to be working with such an amazing cast and creative team! Thank you Mom, Dad and Sari. back40boys! Enjoy the show!

 

Mari Bass (Choreographer) is thrilled to be returning to MPT for yet another wonderful summer! Mari has enjoyed directing, choreographing, and performing in the Madison area since moving here in 2010. Recent credits include direction for Middleton Players Theater (Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, Spitfire Grill) and choreography for Middleton Players Theater (Ragtime, Carousel, Legally Blonde), Four Seasons Theater, UW-Madison University Theater, and Children’s Theater of Madison. Mari has performed with Middleton Players Theater (Into the Woods, Parade, Legally Blonde, Sunday In the Park with George), Children’s Theater of Madison, and Four Seasons Theater. Mari is the Artistic Director of the Verona Area High School Theater Program. Mari is also a voice coach and tap teacher with Nichols Voice Studio. Thanks to Trevor for being our rock this year. Keep Calm and Love to Dance! 

 

Eloise Berkley (Director) is thrilled to be back with MPT to make her directorial debut with My Fair Lady. Eloise’s previous MPT credits include: I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (AD/Choreographer), Book of Days (Ruth), Into the Woods (AD/Granny, Giant’s Wife, Cinderella’s Mother) and Merrily We Roll Along (AD). Eloise holds a Bachelor of Music degree from UW-Green Bay, a Master of Music degree from UW-Madison, and a Doctor of Music degree also from UW-Madison. Eloise would personally like to thank the entire cast and crew of My Fair Lady for their hard work and dedication to making this show beautiful. She is grateful to have such a talented community of friends to collaborate with. Endless love to her wife Shelby!

 

Alissa Berman (Production Stage Manager) is excited to be returning for her 10th Season with Middleton Players. She has stage-managed countless of Middleton Players' past shows. Highlights from her past work with MPT include Into The Woods (2025, SM), Merrily We Roll Along (2025, SM), Big Fish (2024, SM), Lumberjacks In Love (2024, SM), among many other productions since 2015. Alissa also works with Four Seasons Theatre and UW-Madison’s University Opera.

 

Joseph Berman (Technical Director) is excited to be back for another awesome Middleton Players Theatre season! Joe would like to thank MPT, his family, and his friends for always supporting his endeavors. He thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!

 

Rachael Brolin (Ensemble) is excited to be back on stage with MPT after performing in Merrily We Roll Along last year! Other theatre credits include Miss Door County (MD) and Bridges of Madison County (Marian U/S) with Music Theatre of Madison, Bright Star (MD) with UW-Milwaukee, and Something Rotten (Ensemble) with Theatre Cedar Rapids. She also performs with the LunART Choir and Four Seasons Theatre’s Outreach Program. Thanks and love to her family!

 

Keith Christianson (Ensemble), a sometime veteran of Madison area theater, is as happy as the proverbial clam to return to the stage with MPT, although somewhat uncertain how happiness in clams is measured. Previous credits include All is Calm (a few times), Young Frankenstein (as Victor), Big Fish (as Karl), Singing in the Shower (for the heck of it), sadly Funny Voices at Bedtime (for Aurora, age 11) has been cancelled. Dad is no longer cool.

 

Austin Demerath (Freddy Eynsford-Hill) is thrilled to be performing in his first season with MPT! He is in his fourth year of studies at UW Madison, majoring in Music Education and Theatre and Drama. His recent credits include Le Nozze di Figaro (Figaro), Our Town (Sam), and Dance Nation (Luke/Dance Captain). He would like to give a special thanks to his family, friends, and teachers for their support of his artistic endeavors.
