Dear Friends,

Thank you for coming to our show! 

I am overjoyed to share our fine work on this challenging but most rewarding production with you.

Brighton Beach Memoirs is a story of a family – plain and simple.  Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical play is not simply about his family, but it is also about my family and yours.  The themes of love in times of trouble, laughter in times of sadness, and coming of age in a fast-paced world are all things we have experienced.  This is why this story remains a classic piece of modern American theatre.

The cast and crew would like to give special thanks to Mr. Rinella and the HS South community for their support.

Especially as we embark on the holiday season, take the lesson at the end of this play to heart – you may fight and disagree, but, no matter what, family always forgives.
