Kate Baxter

Assistant Director

Kate Baxter, as an eighth grader, has spent years working in the stage crew for the MMS musical. For 2 years, she worked in the art department expressing her creativity, originally in the design crew and then as assistant creative director. Now, in The Wizard of Oz, Kate is an Assistant Director and is excited to have worked on this groundbreaking performance.
Max Brett

Assistant Director

Max has previously worked as backstage Crew, a Stage Manager and is now happy to work on this production as an Assistant Director. Previously, he had acted in musical productions outside of MMS, but has enjoyed working behind the scenes much more. He has had a great time as stage crew for the past three years, and is excited to continue in high school as well.
Nathan Chen

Assistant Director

Nathan is an eighth grader who loves sports: tennis, soccer, skiing, and swimming, among others. He also loves maker’s activities, such as building structures and using tools. He has participated in musicals like Matilda, Grease, and High School Musical as both cast and crew. He would like to thank Mrs. Reilly for the opportunity to be an Assistant Director this year.
Mason Murphy

Assistant Director

As a 7th grader, Mason has had fun helping out Mrs. Reilly and liked how it was sometimes messy. He wants to thank his brother, Liam, and his parents for their support throughout the entire process. He would also like to thank Vihaan (Stage Manager) for being such a good friend throughout the musical.
Anavi Sinha

Assistant Creative Director

Anavi is a seventh grader in her second year working on the musical. She has worked on design crew, and is currently assistant creative director for the Wizard of Oz. She is excited to continue participating in Millburn Middle School musicals and would like to thank Mrs. Reilly for the opportunity to participate and Kate Baxter for all her help this year.
